Job summary

Wise is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for the Greater China region. You will own end-to-end growth, build a robust pipeline, and structure complex partnerships with banks and PSPs to deliver revenue from engagement to go-live.

Based in Hong Kong, you will work cross-functionally to design solutions, forecast pipelines, and drive deals, with a focus on cross-border payments and financial services. Relocation to Hong Kong is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or partnerships within payments or financial services.
• Experience selling cross-border payments, APIs, or infrastructure solutions.
• Proven track record of owning and closing complex deals with banks or financial institutions.
• Detail-oriented and hands-on, comfortable going deep into product, operational, and regulatory topics.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Own business development across Greater China markets end-to-end
• Build high-quality, qualified pipeline with prioritisation
• Originate, structure, and close complex partnerships with banks and PSPs
• Drive deals forward with next steps, risk identification, and execution plans
• Work cross-functionally to design and deliver partner solutions
• Stay closely involved post-signing to ensure launch and revenue ramp
• Develop a deep understanding of your markets and build a strategy to win
