Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group Hong Kong is seeking a Sales Support Analyst to assist the sales and marketing teams with product, performance and proposal insights for Hong Kong and overseas wholesale and institutional business in hedge fund products.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Support in Hong Kong, you will deliver accurate client responses and contribute to improvements in the sales support model and client experience while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, statistics, mathematics or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin.
• 3–5 years’ experience in finance, asset management, fund house, banking or related role.
• Ability to work onsite in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Support business development with fund perspectives, performance updates and competitor analysis.
• Respond to requests for proposals and due diligence questionnaires.
• Develop and maintain sales decks, pitchbooks and internal materials for hedge fund products.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties for timely, accurate client responses.
• Drive enhancements to the sales support model with key stakeholders.
• Represent the sales team on CRM, compliance clearance, client communications, data analysis and cross-functional projects.

Sales Support Analyst

The Sales Support Analyst supports the sales and marketing team by delivering product, performance and proposal-related insight for Hong Kong and overseas wholesale and institutional business. Our client works with hedge fund products and provides an environment where the successful candidate can contribute to business development and cross-functional projects.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Sales Support in Hong Kong, the role provides day‑to‑day support to the sales team and represents the team across a range of internal projects. Success will involve delivering accurate and timely client responses while contributing to enhancements of the sales support model and client experience.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience collecting information, analysing data and producing outcome‑driven reports
• Good business acumen and understanding of global financial markets
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and drive tasks through to completion
• Self‑motivation and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin
• 3–5 years’ experience in the finance industry, asset management, a fund house, banking, consulting or a similar role
• Ability to work onsite in Hong Kong

• Project experience and programming skills
• Prior experience in a Big Four firm or consultancy
