Job summary

Ubiquant Asset Management is seeking a Product/RFP specialist in Hong Kong to support the sales and marketing team. The role focuses on HK and overseas wholesale and institutional business, reporting to the Head of Sales Support.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in finance/asset management, strong data analysis, and excellent English communication; Cantonese or Mandarin fluency is required. Proficiency in MS Office and programming is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, statistics, mathematics, or related curriculums.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills; good business acumen and understanding of global financial markets.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with high attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance/asset management or related field; prior consulting/big 4 is a plus.

Job description

A top-tier quant asset management firm in HK is currently hiring a Product/RFP specialist who supports the sales and marketing team with 3-5 years working experiences. The position will cover a wide range of works within the sales team and the clients, including global asset owners, institutional investors, FoFs and HNWIs.

• Location: Hong Kong
• Key Responsibilities:
• The role is an Product/RFP professional within the sales and marketing team, focusing on Hong Kong and overseas wholesale and institutional business. Reporting to the Head of Sales Support in Hong Kong, the candidate will provide day-to-day support to the sales team and represent the team in various projects.
• Proactively participate and support execution of business development, by helping marketing team in providing fund perspective, performance update, competitor analysis and responding the requests for proposals (RFPs)/DDQs.Develop and maintain materials for the hedge fund products, including sales decks, pitchbooks, and internal materials.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure timely and accurate responses provided to clients.
• Responsible for driving the sales support model enhancement, working closely with key stakeholders to make sure best-in-class client experience is delivered. Represent the sales team in various projects including CRM, compliance clearance, client communication, data analyst projects and other projects led by different internal functional teams.

5.Requirements and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or above from a top-tier University in finance, statistics, mathematics, or other relevant curriculums.
• Proficiency in information collection, data analysis, reporting, particularly in outcome-driven analysis. Good business acumen. Understanding of global financial markets.
• With strong computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). project experience and skills in programming is a plus.
• Accuracy with meticulous attention to details, multiple-task capability in a fast-paced environment and ability to drive tasks to completion.
• Highly self-motivated, being an outstanding team player who can collaborate well with other team members and external partners. With excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is also required.
• 3-5 years of working experience in the finance industry, asset management, fund house, banking or consulting or other similar role. Prior experience in big 4/consultancy is preferable.
