Job summary

YesStyle.com is hiring a Senior Human Resources Officer to lead Total Rewards, payroll operations and benefits administration. The role ensures payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, and drives reward programs aligned with business growth.

Based in Hong Kong with a hybrid work policy, you will own end-to-end payroll for HK staff, support overseas payroll, and contribute to HR analytics and reporting for management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline; candidates with tertiary education and over 10 years of relevant experience are welcome.
• Minimum 6–8 years in payroll, compensation & benefits, and HR operations; lesser experience considered for Officer title.
• Hands-on experience managing payroll processes in a sizable organization.
• Experience in salary payment administration, rewards projects, or compensation analysis is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF, taxation, and HR compliance.
• Proficiency in payroll systems, Chinese typing, and Microsoft Excel; strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end payroll administration for Hong Kong-based employees and support overseas payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries, overtime, commissions, bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
• Liaise with payroll vendors, Finance, and stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and analyses for management review.
• Ensure compliance with employment ordinances, MPF, taxation, and other statutory obligations.
• Administer employee benefits programs including medical, insurance, leave, attendance and wellness initiatives.
• Support annual salary review, bonus review, and promotion exercises.
• Assist in HR system enhancements and process improvements related to payroll and rewards.
• Prepare reports and presentations to support management decision-making.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and payroll systems.
