Job summary

WPP Media Hong Kong Limited is seeking a proactive Senior Associate, Payroll to execute end-to-end payroll, manage tax filings, and maintain accurate employee data in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

The role collaborates with external payroll vendors, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports HR operations across onboarding, contracts, and leave management. The position adopts a hybrid work arrangement with office presence around four days a week in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years payroll experience in a sizable corporation.
• Knowledge of HK Employment Ordinance and MPF regulations.
• Strong numerical accuracy and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across teams.
• Highly organized and able to deliver accurately under deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Payroll Execution: Full-cycle processing with external payroll vendor coordination.
• Tax Returns & Compliance: Prepare, file, and reconcile payroll-related tax returns.
• HR Operations & Lifecycle Administration: Manage onboarding, contracts, and leave systems.
• Data & Records Management: Maintain payroll databases and audit trails.
