Job summary

Jia Group Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests at our casual Italian restaurant. You will manage reservations and seating to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and smooth flow of guests.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, using SEVENROOMS for reservations, coordinating with the service team, handling inquiries by phone and email, and assisting with walk-ins while maintaining a clean front desk.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) with basic English
• Proven experience using the SEVENROOMS reservation system
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job description

We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at our casual Italian restaurant. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.

The Job:

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
• Manage reservations, seating, and guest flow using SEVENROOMS system
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest inquiries via phone, email
• Assist with walk-in guests and waitlist management during peak hours
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and entrance area
• Support restaurant operations and administrative tasks as needed

What You Need:

• Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin); basic English communication skills preferred
• Proven experience using the SEVENROOMS reservation system is required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous hospitality or F&B experience is a plus but not required (training will be provided)
