Job summary

Lanson Place Causeway Bay is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead its dining operations in Hong Kong. You will oversee the signature all day dining restaurant, in-room dining, meeting room catering and high-end private dining experiences to deliver exceptional service and achieve financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Handle complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently; follow through to resolution.
• Coordinate with Chefs and Beverage team on daily operations and quality control.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Operations to enhance revenue, guest engagement and brand awareness.
• Drive growth and engagement of a local dining membership and guest community.
• Manage overall F&B costs with focus on food, beverage and labor cost optimization.

What will you do?

• Oversee the hotel's signature all day dining restaurant, in-room dining operation, meeting room catering business and high-end private dining experiences to achieve excellent customer service and financial goals
• Handle all complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
• Liaise with Chefs and Beverage team on daily operations and quality control
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to enhance revenue opportunities, guest engagement and brand awareness
• Drive growth, development and engagement of a local dining membership and guest community
• Manage and control overall F&B operational costs, with a strong focus on food, beverage, and labor cost optimization

What do we seek in you?

• A minimum of 5years’ relevant experience in restaurant operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Strong leadership, team-management and staff-development skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, food safety, hygiene requirements and cost control
• A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
