Job summary

DBS Bank Hong Kong is hiring for a Relationship Management professional within Corporate and Investment Banking. You will oversee client accounts, drive liability growth, and promote fee-based products to corporate clients in the PRC/GBA region.

Strong emphasis on credit evaluation, negotiation, and cross‑department coordination. The role requires solid English and Putonghua communication, team spirit, and a valid RI designation with HKSI exams 1,7,8 or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Preferably degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing or Economics.
• Good credit evaluation skill and good teamwork spirit.
• Good communication in both spoken and written English and Putonghua.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Must be registered RI (Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4) with HKSI Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new liabilities accounts, capture CASA and promote fee income to PRC/GBA clients.
• Monitor account performance and control overdue situations.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries on all banking operations.
• Liaise with other departments to solve customer problems.
• Obtain up-to-date market information in banking and help develop new products.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and bank policies, lending guidelines and procedures.
• Perform regulated activities, type 1 and 4 under SFO.
• Adhere to HKMA requirements and the SFC code of conduct.

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities

• To acquire new liabilities accounts, capture CASA and penetrate various fee income products to our clients with PRC/GBA as major focus
• Monitor account performance to ensure good utilization of facilities and to control overdue situations.
• Provide prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries in respect of all aspects of banking operations.
• Liaise with other departments to solve problems encountered by customers.
• Obtain up‑to‑date market information in the baking industry and help develop new products.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements imposed by regulatory authorities, and policies, standards, lending guidelines and procedures of the Bank.
• Perform regulated activities, type 1 and 4 specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO).
• Comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA and other regulator bodies. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.
