Job summary

ARCA Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through handover. Based in Sai Ying Pun, you will coordinate with the main contractor, site staff, and sub-consultants to ensure timely, quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified and registered architect with 1+ year post-qualification experience.
• Alternatively, a non-architect with 10 years local building work experience in the PM capacity.
• Experience approving by the Architect of the Contract and chairing SSEMC meetings.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join ARCA Limited in a full-time capacity. Based in Sai Ying Pun, Central and Western District, this role is central to the successful delivery of our construction projects. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from planning and procurement through to completion and handover. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex construction initiatives whilst working with a dynamic team committed to delivering excellence in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as daily contact between Main Contractor and Resident Site Staffs
• Authorized to be senders of correspondence to client, contractors, and sub-consultants

What we’re looking for

• Fully qualified and registered architect with minimum 1 year post qualification experience
• Personnel who are not a registered architect but with 10 years local building work experience in the capacity of a Project Manager may also be accepted
• Approve by the Architect of the Contract
• Chair the monthly Site Safety and Environment Management Meeting (SSEMC)
• Chair the regular coordination meetings with contractor on site
• Conduct site visits periodically to monitor the works
• Resolve conflict between tender design and actual site conditions
• Resolve conflict between project team and contractor
• Any other duties as assigned by the Architect of the Contract
