Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business, Finance or Hospitality field.
• Minimum 5 years in procurement, hotel and catering sector preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytics and leadership with detail orientation.

Job Overview

The responsibilities of this role include collaborating with suppliers to negotiate contracts for the procurement of necessary goods and services, as well as maintaining accurate records of transaction trends. The position is responsible for sourcing suppliers and coordinating orders on behalf of the hotels to ensure the highest quality products are consistently provided across the business. Additionally, it is essential to ensure that all orders remain within operating budgets and that suppliers offer the best-negotiated prices for all products. The role also involves planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related personnel engaged in the procurement of materials, products, and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant position with expertise in the Hotel and Catering industry (experience with both food and general products is an advantage).
• Exhibits a high level of attention to detail, results-oriented and has the ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously.
• Solid experience in using procurement system such as SAP, CheckSCM etc along with a strong sense of procurement compliance
• Proven negotiation skills,Strong analytical abilitiesandinterpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills both internally with operational departments and external suppliers.
• Applicants with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Procurement Manager.
