Job summary

SPS UK&I Limited seeks an APAC Operations Manager to lead Corporate Services across Asia Pacific from Hong Kong. You will supervise mailroom, reception, workplace services and catering operations at the bank client's site, acting as the main representative for corporate services and aligning with regional teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in operations management within financial services, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a hands-on, flexible approach to frontline activities.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused APAC Operations Manager to oversee Corporate Services operations and drive operational excellence across the Asia Pacific region. Based at our bank client's site, this role serves as the key representative of the client's Corporate Services function and acts as the primary point of contact for operational matters, including mailroom, reception, workplace services, and catering operations.

Responsibilities: -

Operations Management

• Oversee Corporate Service operations in Hong Kong to ensure seamless day-to-day service delivery.
• Manage, oversee and support SPS operations across the APAC region.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Provides onsite operational support during critical resource shortages.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the key onsite representative and trusted advisor to the client for Corporate Services matters.
• Proactively build strong relationships with client stakeholders at both local and regional levels.
• Partner closely with local, regional, and global teams to ensure alignment and operational consistency.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

• Proactively identify, recommend and implement service enhancements and value-added solutions that improve client experiences.
• Review processes and procedures constantly; discuss with client for workflow optimization when necessary.
• Support and lead regional project implementations and operational initiatives across APAC.
• Drives standardization (in documentation and processes) across the APAC sites, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and best practice sharing.

Vendor Management

• Manage and coordinate external vendors and business partners to ensure service quality and compliance.

Qualifications: -

• University degree holder or equivalent with 5 years or above experiences in Operation Management within a banking, financial services, or professional corporate environment.
• Experiences in mailroom management, corporate services, or workplace solution is a plus.
• Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Flexible and hands-on, with the willingness to support frontline operational activities, including reception coverage when required.
• Customer-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Result-oriented performer with the motivation and skill to drive the success.
• Proven leadership and change management skills.
