Job summary

AMINA Bank AG in Hong Kong seeks an organised Operations Associate to support daily operations, administration, and cross-team coordination across APAC. You will handle transaction processing, storage management, and client onboarding, contributing to a smooth, compliant, and scalable operation.

The role requires 3+ years in operations/administration within financial services, strong English and Cantonese/Mandarin, and familiarity with regulated financial environments.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of operations and/or administration experience, preferably in financial services.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin is mandatory; additional languages a plus.
• Experience in SFC licensed firms or HKMA registered type 1, 4, 9 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational workflows including transaction processing, reconciliations, and inter-team coordination.
• Manage client deposit and withdrawal processes for fiat and digital assets.
• Coordinate office administration, facilities, vendor management, and general admin tasks.
• Prepare and report operational updates, order summaries, and bulletins to stakeholders.
• Ensure maker-checker controls and system setup validations are followed.

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our Hong Kong office. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operational processes, administrative support, and coordination across multiple teams within APAC. Your main focus will be on processing transactions, managing storage, executing actions, client onboarding process, and general administrative tasks.

Your AMINA To-Do List

Operations & Transaction Management

• Oversee daily operational workflows, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and coordination across internal teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely handling of client deposit and withdrawal requests, covering both fiat and virtual asset transactions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Compliance, Trading, Relationship Management, and Legal teams to ensure seamless cross-functional coordination and execution.

Office Administration & Workplace Support

• Coordinate day-to-day office administration activities to ensure smooth operations, efficient workflows, and a well-organized workplace environment.
• Support facilities, vendor coordination, office supplies management, and general administrative tasks to maintain operational effectiveness and employee experience.

Operational Governance & Stakeholder Reporting

• Maintain procedural accuracy, including maker-checker controls and system setup validations.
• Manage reporting for internal stakeholders, including order summaries, bulletins, and operational updates.

Your golden ticket to the AMINA team:

• Qualified in Business Administration, Finance, ora related discipline.
• 3 years of solid operations and/or administration experience, preferably from financial services
• Strong motivation, results-driven, and willingness to strive for the digital assets market ahead and to define finance standards.
• Experience in SFC licensed firms, or HKMA registered institution type 1, 4, and 9 will be an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
