Job summary

Annum Capital is a Hong Kong-based financial services group seeking an Investment Operations & Business Support Associate to join its operations team and support day-to-day investment activities. You will assist with client onboarding, KYC/AML documentation, and information updates, as well as subscriptions and redemptions for funds and other investment products.

Coordination with banks, fund managers, and administrators is key.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of working experience in asset management, wealth management, private banking or related financial institutions.
• Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• Exposure to KYC/AML, client onboarding, fund subscriptions/redemptions, trade support or investment operations is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proactive, flexible and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day investment operations and follow up on related matters.
• Assist with client onboarding, KYC/AML documentation and ongoing information updates.
• Assist with subscriptions, redemptions and related transaction documentation for funds and other investment products.
• Liaise with private banks, fund managers, fund administrators and other external service providers on day-to-day operational matters.
• Maintain client, transaction and investment-related records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in preparing client materials, investment product information, periodic reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with investment, client servicing and operations teams and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Provide general administrative and business support to the team.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day investment operations and follow up on related matters

Assist with client onboarding, KYC / AML documentation and ongoing information updates

Assist with subscriptions, redemptions and related transaction documentation for funds and other investment products

Liaise with private banks, fund managers, fund administrators and other external service providers on day-to-day operational matters

Maintain client, transaction and investment-related documentation and internal records, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Assist in preparing client materials, investment product information, periodic reports and presentations

Coordinate with investment, client servicing and operations teams and follow up on outstanding matters

Provide general administrative and business support to the team

Participate in ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as required

Requirements

1–3 years of working experience, experience in asset management, wealth management, private banking, securities firms, fund management, family offices or other financial institutions is preferred

Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products

Exposure to KYC / AML, client onboarding, fund subscriptions and redemptions, trade support or investment operations would be an advantage, but is not essential

Detail-oriented and responsible, with strong organisational and follow-up skills

Proactive, flexible and willing to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities

Able to prioritise tasks effectively and follow up on multiple matters simultaneously

Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Good written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is preferred
