Job summary

Apex Logistics International in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled Tender Manager to lead the end-to-end tender process for the Asia Pacific region. You will coordinate with sales, pricing, and operations to develop compelling responses and ensure timely submissions.

You will review customer requirements, assemble documentation, and communicate with customers to clarify terms while maintaining meticulous records and deadlines. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of tender management or related freight forwarding roles.
• Strong understanding of air freight tender and pricing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.

• Lead the preparation and compilation of tender submissions, including documentation and pricing proposals.

Based in Hong Kong, this role will lead the tender management process, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer RFQs (Request for Quotations) and RFPs (Request for Proposals). This role requires solid experience in air freight, strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to develop competitive and compelling tender submissions.

• Manage the end-to-end tender management process for the Asia Pacific region, from receipt of RFQ/RFP to submission and post-submission activities.
• Coordinate with sales, pricing, operations, and other internal teams to gather relevant information and develop comprehensive tender responses.
• Review tender documents and customer requirements to ensure alignment with company capabilities and objectives.
• Lead the preparation and compilation of tender submissions, including documentation, pricing proposals, and other required materials.
• Manage communication with customers throughout the tender process, including clarification requests and negotiation of terms and conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tender activities, including status updates, submission deadlines, and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in tender management or related roles within freight forwarding industry
• Good understanding in air freight tender and pricing
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to review tender documents thoroughly to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
