Job summary

OOCL is seeking an experienced HR technology leader to own and advance the company's in-house HR systems and digital workflows. You will drive platform enhancements, analytics, and AI-powered solutions to support global HR operations and workforce transformation.

You will partner with HR, IT, and vendors to implement upgrades, translate business needs into technical specs, and develop a technology roadmap that aligns with evolving business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or related areas, with proven experience in HR system implementation, enhancement, or digital transformation projects.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager positions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems administration, system enhancement, process automation, and project management.
  • Experience with HR digital transformation initiatives, workflow automation, AI applications, or data analytics tools will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the system owner and steward of the Company's in-house HR systems and related HR applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive the continuous enhancement and optimization of HR systems and digital workflows to improve efficiency, user experience, and service delivery across global HR teams.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend new HR technologies, automation solutions, and AI-powered applications that support business growth, operational excellence, and workforce transformation.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and external vendors to implement system upgrades, new functionalities, and process improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into system specifications and ensure appropriate system configuration and implementation.
  • Develop and execute the HR technology roadmap to support evolving business and organizational needs.
  • Lead and support HR system-related projects, including system implementation, enhancements, testing, process redesign, user acceptance testing (UAT), and documentation.
  • Coordinate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor project deliverables to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of HR data across all HR systems.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and analytics to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
  • Promote data-driven HR practices through advanced reporting and visualization tools.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to HR users and employees on HR systems and related processes.
  • Prepare user guides, training materials, and communication plans to facilitate successful system adoption.
  • Lead change management initiatives to maximize user engagement and system utilization.
  • Ensure HR systems comply with internal policies, data governance standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain HR data privacy, security controls, and audit compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits related to HR systems and data management.
