Job summary

OOCL is seeking an Assistant Manager, International Human Resources to collaborate with overseas offices on HR services, workforce planning and governance. The role emphasizes global coordination of compensation and benefits, staffing approvals, and international transfers.

You will support annual HR cycles, review policies, and drive international HR initiatives while using your Python-level Excel and multilingual capabilities to influence regional teams.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in regional MNCs environment.
• Hands-on experience in compensation and benefits administration, workforce planning and HR Information System.
• Advanced level in MS Excel application.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; Putonghua is a must.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management in overseas offices on full spectrum of HR services including workforce planning, organization design and HR governance.
• Coordinate with overseas HR teams to review local compensation, benefits schemes and initiatives for market competitiveness and governance.
• Support management review and approval on staffing proposals, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures.
• Coordinate and support annual global exercises such as performance appraisal, salary review, bonus distribution, budget and succession planning.
• Facilitate international transfers including packages, visa, tax, relocation support and policy administration.
• Review global HR workflows and policies and provide advice to overseas offices on policy implementation.
• Support implementation of corporate initiatives in overseas offices and handle ad-hoc projects as required.
