Job summary

OOCL is seeking a seasoned Manager, International Compensation & Benefits - HR Systems to own and optimize in-house HR systems globally. You will drive system enhancements, partner with HR and IT, and translate business needs into actionable configurations across regions.

The role focuses on data governance, dashboards, and change management to ensure accurate HR analytics and compliant processes while supporting a digital transformation agenda.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or related areas, with proven experience in HR system implementation, enhancement, or digital transformation projects.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager positions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems administration, system enhancement, process automation, and project management.
  • Experience with HR digital transformation initiatives, workflow automation, AI applications, or data analytics tools will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

Manager, International Compensation & Benefits - HR Systems

Act as the system owner and steward of the Company's in-house HR systems and related HR applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and alignment with business objectives.

Drive the continuous enhancement and optimization of HR systems and digital workflows to improve efficiency, user experience, and service delivery across global HR teams.

Identify, evaluate, and recommend new HR technologies, automation solutions, and AI-powered applications that support business growth, operational excellence, and workforce transformation.

Partner with HR, IT, and external vendors to implement system upgrades, new functionalities, and process improvements.

Translate business requirements into system specifications and ensure appropriate system configuration and implementation.

Develop and execute the HR technology roadmap to support evolving business and organizational needs.

Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination

Lead and support HR system-related projects, including system implementation, enhancements, testing, process redesign, user acceptance testing (UAT), and documentation.

Coordinate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and aligned with organizational objectives.

Manage vendor relationships and monitor project deliverables to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Data Governance, Analytics & Reporting

Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of HR data across all HR systems.

Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and analytics to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning.

Promote data-driven HR practices through advanced reporting and visualization tools.

User Support, Change Management & Training

Provide subject matter expertise and support to HR users and employees on HR systems and related processes.

Prepare user guides, training materials, and communication plans to facilitate successful system adoption.

Lead change management initiatives to maximize user engagement and system utilization.

Compliance, Security & Risk Management

Ensure HR systems comply with internal policies, data governance standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Monitor and maintain HR data privacy, security controls, and audit compliance.

Support internal and external audits related to HR systems and data management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

10+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or related areas, with proven experience in HR system implementation, enhancement, or digital transformation projects.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager positions.
