Job summary
Tastings Group Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and deliver a premium dining experience. You will supervise staff, advise guests on wines, manage the wine cellar, and monitor budgets for profitability.
Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in luxury restaurant management, a Hospitality degree or diploma, WSET level 2/3 is a plus, and bilingual abilities in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Immediate availability is preferred.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years in restaurant management at a luxury Western restaurant.
- Hospitality management degree or diploma; WSET level 2 or 3 is an advantage.
- Able to advise guests on wines according to preferences and food choices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations.
- Ensure high standards of food and beverage service.
- Manage staff: hiring, training, scheduling.
- Advise guests on wines based on tastes and food choices.
- Manage wine cellar and conduct tastings.
- Maintain inventory and stock levels.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Provide reports to management.
