Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage Service team.

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, the role oversees restaurant operations, supervises service standards, and reports to the Restaurant General Manager. A minimum of 3 years in hotel F&B, preferably luxury, with strong managerial and guest relations skills is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' relevant working experience in a similar capacity in hotel Food & Beverage, preferably in luxury hotel.
• Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Passion in customer service and hospitality industry.
• Able to work under pressure.
• International exposure will be an advantage.
• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a delighted bar and dining experience to our guests
• Ensure maintain smooth daily operation and high-quality service standard of the restaurant
• Handle complaints and comments tactfully
• Liaise closely with the kitchen team on food quality or presentation
• Liaise with internal and external parties on new menus and promotions
• Develop and maintain good relationships with guests
