Job summary

Ambition in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced IT Operations professional to deliver functional support across Calypso, TBricks, Imagine, and internal platforms. You will mentor junior staff, oversee onboarding, and manage rotating shifts, health checks, and automated alerts.

Responsibilities include incident and change management, deployment projects for new systems, and maintaining documentation of procedures and configurations.

Qualifications

• Core experience: 8+ years supporting Calypso or Front Office platforms for Equity Derivatives or FICC.
• Technical proficiency: SQL, Windows/Linux commands, shell scripting; solid server/network knowledge.
• Core competencies: analytical problem solving, attention to detail, clear communication under pressure.
• Shift availability: early shifts starting at 7:00 AM with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Application & User Support: Deliver functional support across Calypso, TBricks, Imagine, and internal platforms.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior staff and oversee onboarding/training for new team members.
• Operations & Monitoring: Execute morning/afternoon shift rotations for health checks, configure monitoring rules, and address automated system alerts.
• Incident & Change Management: Handle incident escalation, direct resolutions, and oversee change requests from dev and infra teams.
• Infrastructure & Security: Support BCP drills, IT security reviews, audit requests, and lead deployment projects for new systems and servers.
• Documentation: Keep operational procedures and technical environment configurations updated.
• General: Fulfill additional tasks assigned by management.
