Job summary

ALL-STAR AGENCY in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Associate – IT Operations Supervisor (End User & Trade Floor Support) to oversee front-line technical support and core IT operations for business users and trading desks. You will supervise a small ITSM team, manage endpoint environments and trading platforms, and drive infrastructure projects across APAC and Head Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related discipline.
• 6+ years IT experience in sizeable orgs, banking preferred.
• 2–3 years in a team supervision role.
• Hands-on with desktop apps, VDI, endpoint security and control systems (Windows, VMware).
• Trading systems experience: Bloomberg, Refinitiv/LSEG, EBS.
• Familiarity with ITIL; ITIL/CCNA/MCITP preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin an advantage.

Job description

Join a leading financial institution in Hong Kong as Senior Associate – IT Operations Supervisor (End User & Trade Floor Support), overseeing front‑line technical support and core IT operations for business users and trading desks. You will supervise a small ITSM team, manage endpoint environments and trading platforms, and help deliver key infrastructure projects across APAC and Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Head in supervising end‑user support, trade floor support and IT operations, ensuring timely, effective and high‑quality technical services and routine system operations.
• Manage endpoint systems and tools, including virtual PC platforms, patch management, cyber hygiene solutions and system management utilities.
• Perform daily system operations, maintenance, support and troubleshooting for desktops, VDI, servers and related services.
• Oversee IT asset management, maintaining accurate hardware and software inventories and ensuring proper life‑cycle tracking.
• Provide supervisory‑level technical support to treasury and trading users, covering Refinitiv/LSEG, Bloomberg, EBS, dealer board and other Head Office systems.
• Support the Team Head and Project Governance in delivering IT projects; work closely with APAC regional and Head Office teams on project rollout, system implementation and ongoing support, and liaise with external vendors for implementation, maintenance and incident resolution.

Requirements

• Degree in IT or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years’ IT experience in sizeable organizations, preferably in banking, with 2–3 years in a team supervision role.
• Solid experience supporting and troubleshooting desktop applications, virtual desktop infrastructure, endpoint security and control systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, VMware).
• Hands‑on experience with trading systems such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv/LSEG, EBS and dealer boards.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and controls; certifications such as ITIL, CCNA or MCITP are preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proactive, results‑oriented and comfortable working under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
