Job summary

Recruit Logic Limited is seeking an experienced Application Support professional for L1/L2 roles in an investment bank environment in Hong Kong. The role provides functional support on Calypso, TBricks, Imagine, and other in-house systems and involves mentoring junior staff and training new joiners.

You will perform health checks, monitor critical systems, and handle incident escalation and change management. Strong SQL, Windows/Linux, and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an IT related discipline.
• Around 10 years of experience in system support of Calypso or Front Office systems for Equity Derivatives or FICC products.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server commands and shell scripts.
• Good understanding of server and network infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Chinese speaking advantageous).
• Willing to work on morning shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support on Calypso, TBricks, Imagine, and other in-house systems to users.
• Mentor junior team members and provide training to new joiners.
• Perform health checks and monitoring of critical systems during morning/afternoon shifts.
• Handle incident escalation and management.
• Manage change requests from development and infrastructure teams and other configurations.
• Configure system monitoring rules and respond to alerts.
• Maintain documentation on procedures and environment configuration.
• Perform BCP drills and assist with IT security and audit reviews.
• Lead projects related to new system or server deployments.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the manager.
