Job summary

SMBC Group in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced IT Operations and End User Support supervisor to oversee daily technical support for treasury users and trading floor systems, including familiarity with Refinitiv, Bloomberg, EBS and related HO platforms.

You will manage endpoint systems, patch management, cyber hygiene, asset ledger, and coordinate with APAC regional teams and external vendors to ensure timely project delivery and stable operations.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in IT or related discipline.
• At least 6 years’ IT experience in sizeable firms and preferably in banking, with 2–3 years in team supervision.
• Hands-on experience in trading systems such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv/LSEG, EBS, Dealer Board.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and control; ITIL, CCNA, MCITP preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Head to supervise End Users Support, Trade Floor Support, IT Operations to ensure timely, effective and high quality technical support services and routine system operations.
• Manage endpoint systems such as Virtual PC platform, patch management, cyber hygiene and system management tools.
• Perform system operations, maintenance, support and troubleshooting.
• Manage IT assets, maintaining an accurate ledger for both hardware and software inventory.
• Act as supervisory level to provide technical support for treasury users and systems, including Refinitiv, Bloomberg, EBS, Dealer Board and other HO systems.
• Assist Team Head and Project Governance team to implement IT projects.
• Work closely with APAC regional and Head office team for project delivery, system implementation and on-going support.
• Liaise and manage external vendors for project implementation, maintenance and support.
