Job summary

Kam Yuen (Group) International Ltd in Causeway Bay seeks an IT Support Officer on a 2-year contract. You will be the first line of support for end-users, providing essential guidance and troubleshooting to onsite and remote users.

The role covers Windows/Office 365/Teams administration, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, firewall and server support, and travel to Zhongshan and Shenzhen factories as needed. You will help draft IT policy and governance, set up AI servers, and manage IT inventory.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in IT or related field.
• 2–5 years IT support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Office 365 / Teams.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN; SD-WAN is a plus.
• Experience in firewall and server support; data centre exposure is beneficial.
• Willing to travel to Zhongshan and Shenzhen factories.
• Experience with IT policy/SOP is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI servers; Python programming is a plus.

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Officer to join our team on a 2-year contract term. Based in Causeway Bay. As an IT Support Officer, you will be the first line of support for our organisation, providing essential technical guidance and troubleshooting to end-users. This position is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and user satisfaction across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk and first-line support to users (onsite and remote), including PC, Office 365, Teams, network and application issues
• System administration in Windows, Office 365 / Teams, LAN / WAN and SD-WAN; hardware / software installation and troubleshooting
• Support firewall and servers in the Hong Kong data centre
• Travel to factories in Zhongshan and Shenzhen is required
• Support application development control (change request, UAT, release and vendor coordination)
• Assist to draft and maintain IT policy, SOP and governance documentation
• Set up and support company AI servers; understand common LLM models (e.g. GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Qwen, DeepSeek)
• Maintain IT inventory and user access; liaise with vendors; handle ad hoc requests

What we're looking for

• Higher Diploma / Degree in IT or a related discipline
• 2–5 years’ experience in IT support or infrastructure support
• Hands-on Office 365 / Teams; knowledge of LAN / WAN (SD-WAN is an advantage)
• Experience in firewall and server support; data centre experience is an advantage
• Willing to travel to Zhongshan and Shenzhen factories
• Experience in application change control and IT policy / SOP is preferred
• Knowledge of common LLM / AI tools; AI server support or AI programming (e.g. Python) is an advantage
• Good communication in English and Chinese; self-motivated, responsible and a good team player
