Job summary

Osmium Consulting Group Limited is seeking an IT procurement professional to support the full procurement lifecycle for hardware, software/SaaS, data feeds, infrastructure, cloud solutions and IT services.

The role requires negotiation of pricing, licensing models and SLAs to maximize value, plus due diligence on suppliers, log maintenance, and renewal management. English and Chinese communication skills are important in a banking/fintech context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or vendor management.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Institutions or Fintech is highly preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the procurement lifecycle for IT hardware, software/SaaS, market data feeds, infrastructure, cloud solutions and IT professional services.
• Negotiate pricing, licensing models, SLAs and commercial terms to maximize cost savings and value.
• Perform due diligence on IT suppliers including financial stability, cybersecurity posture and operational resilience.
• Maintain procurement logs, track savings metrics, manage contract renewals and support audit requests.
