Job summary

Osmium Consulting Group Limited is seeking an IT procurement professional to support the full procurement lifecycle for hardware, software/SaaS, data feeds, infrastructure, cloud solutions and IT services.

The role requires negotiation of pricing, licensing models and SLAs to maximize value, plus due diligence on suppliers, log maintenance, and renewal management. English and Chinese communication skills are important in a banking/fintech context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or vendor management.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Institutions or Fintech is highly preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) preferred.

• Assist the procurement lifecycle for IT hardware, software/SaaS, market data feeds, infrastructure, cloud solutions and IT professional services.

Negotiate pricing, licensing models, service level agreements (SLAs), and commercial terms to maximize cost savings and value.

Perform initial and ongoing due diligence on IT suppliers, assessing financial stability, cybersecurity posture, and operational resilience.

Maintain accurate procurement logs, track savings metrics, manage contract renewal schedules, and support internal/external audit requests.

Requirements

Minimum 1 years of experience in IT procurement, technology sourcing, or vendor management.

Prior experience within Banking, Financial Institutions (FIs), or Fintech firms is highly preferred.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
