Hospital Authority Information Technology Department, Hong Kong Island Cluster, seeks an IT Assistant (HKIC261105) to support PC hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and on-site IT services across HK Island hospitals.

Ideal candidates hold an IT diploma and at least 1 year IT operation experience, with good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Salary ranges HK$18,772–HK$27,413 per month plus monthly allowances.

Competenze

• Five subjects including English Language and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent.
• OR five HKDSE subjects with English and Mathematics Level 2 and related subjects.
• Completed a recognized IT diploma or higher course of at least 2 years.
• At least 1 year working experience in IT operation.
• Experience with PC and mobile device installation, configuration, Windows and Mac OS, MS Office and network setup in hospital environments.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Posting to Department of Information Technology, Hong Kong Island Cluster, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital.

Mansioni

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Perform PC hardware and software installation.
• 2. Perform troubleshooting of PC hardware, software and network connection problem.
• 3. Co-ordinate with users and vendors on PC installation.
• 4. Keeping and updating of inventory records and IT related documentation.
• 5. Carry out administration tasks as required by individual team head for implementing the IT solutions in the areas of responsibility.
• 6. Provide after office hours system support.
• 7. Perform on-site support duty at different hospitals/institutions in Hong Kong Island Cluster.
• 8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Entry Requirements

• 1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent.
• OR
• (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
• ─ Level 2 in English Language and Mathematics; and
• ─ Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)/ GradeE in Other Language subjects;
• or equivalent.
• 2. Completed a recognized diploma or higher course in IT of at least 2 years in duration.
• 1. 1 year working experience in IT operation field.
• 2. Experience in PC and mobile device installation, configuration and troubleshooting, Windows and Mac operating system & MS Office problem handling and network configuration in hospital environment.
• 3. Self-initiated, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• 4. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• 2. The selected candidate will be posted to Department of Information Technology of Hong Kong Island Cluster located at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital to provide cluster-based services.
