Job summary

CATL in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to lead full-cycle employee lifecycle management, from onboarding to offboarding, probation, benefits administration and attendance tracking.

You will partner with department heads, provide guidance on performance management and policy interpretation, and support employee queries with professionalism. Communicate with Mainland HR teams to drive efficiency and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using HR-related software and tools.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).

Job Description:

1. Lead the full-cycle employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, internal mobility processes，probation management, end-to-end administration of employee benefit programs, and attendance & leave management, etc.
2. Build HR management rules and HR digital platforms from scratch, ensuring full compliance with local labor regulations and internal audit requirements.
3. Serve as the primary HR business partner to department heads, providing strategic guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
4. Provide general HR support and guidance to employees, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
5. Communicate with Mainland office and HRs to drive efficiencies and continuously improve processes.
6. Support organizing company-wide events (e.g., team-building, training sessions, Career fair, etc.).
7. Complete ad-hoc tasks to improve HR operational efficiency.

Requirement:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field;
2. Minimum 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with demonstrated capability in managing full-spectrum HR operations.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
4. Proficient in using HR-related software and tools
5. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
6. Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
7. Experience working in multinational environments with diverse employee groups; English as primary working language.
