Job summary

Po Leung Kuk in Hong Kong is looking for a Human Resources Officer (Recruitment) to support end-to-end recruitment, screening applicants, interviewing candidates and assisting onboarding activities.

The role requires 3–5 years of HR experience, a degree in HRM or business administration, and strong English and Cantonese communication. You will work with the HRIS, manage headcount, and contribute to performance reviews and HR projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of HR management experience, preferably in NGO or large organizations.
• Familiar with Hong Kong employment ordinances and regulations.
• Mature, detail-oriented, a team player with ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
• Proficient with MS Office (Vlookup and Pivot Table) and Chinese word processing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full recruitment cycle: screen applications, interview, extend offers and onboarding.
• Monitor manpower budget and headcount status of designated departments.
• Manage staff movements (promotion, transfer, departure) via HRIS.
• Facilitate annual performance appraisal and salary review with stakeholders.
• Compile HR reports for management review and compliance.
• Assist in HR projects including HRIS enhancements and internship programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
