Job summary

Po Leung Kuk in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer (Recruitment) to manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and related HR activities. The role involves screening applications, conducting interviews, and handling offers while ensuring compliance with Hong Kong employment regulations.

You will monitor manpower budgets, manage headcount, and support performance management, contracts, and HRIS-related tasks. A proactive team player with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in HRM, business administration, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years' HR experience, preferably in NGO/large organization.
• Familiar with Hong Kong employment ordinances and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full spectrum of recruitment including screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Monitor manpower budget and headcount status for designated departments.
• Manage staff movements via HRIS, including promotions, transfers and departures.
• Support annual performance management, salary reviews and contract renewals.
• Prepare HR reports for management review and compliance.
• Assist HR projects such as process improvements and HRIS enhancements.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Human resources Officer (Recruitment) (Ref no.: HR-HRO)

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full spectrum of recruitment process including but not limited to screening of job applications, conducting interviews, facilitating extension of job offer as well as handling various onboarding formalities, etc.;
• Monitor manpower budget and headcount status of the designated departments;
• Handle staff movement cases such as promotion, transfer and departure through daily management of the HRIS;
• Facilitate the annual performance management exercise by working closely with various stakeholders on appraisal & salary review, employment contract renewal;
• Compile various HR reports for Management’s review and internal compliance;
• Assist in HR projects including work process review, enhancement of HRIS, staff activities, recruitment talk, internship program; and
• Perform other duties as assigned supervisor(s).

Our Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline;
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ solid experience in human resources management preferable gained in NGO/ sizable organization(s);
• Familiar with Hong Kong employment related ordinances and regulations;
• Mature, detail-oriented, a team player, able to work independently;
• Highly self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese;
• Good command of MS Office (i.e. Vlookup and Pivot Table) and Chinese Word Processing.
