Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in IT/Computer Engineering
• 5-8 years of experience in application support
• Strong Unix scripting for automation
• Experience with Docker containers
• OS knowledge: Windows 10/7, RHEL
• Familiarity with Elastic Stack (Logstash, Kibana) is a plus
• Cloud deployment knowledge in PaaS will be a plus
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ messaging systems is advantageous
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration platforms is a plus
• Good command of written and spoken English; Mandarin is a must

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Hong Kong-based liaison between the local TechOps team, clients, internal staff, and global Asset Management development teams.
• Coordinate operational activities, ensuring alignment of technology deliverables with business priorities in Asset Management domains.
• Ensure all Asset Management IT teams maintain TechOps standards and procedures.
• Foster a DevOps mindset and culture across Asset Management technology functions for automation and efficiency.
• Onboard applications into production environments including asset management systems.
• Coordinate deployment processes for containers and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Improve logging, performance metrics, and error diagnostics for client-facing systems and investment platforms.
• Support front-office portfolio tools, risk analytics, and compliance/reporting platforms used in asset management.
• Ensure timely availability and stability of systems supporting investment decision-making and client reporting.
• Manage technology asset lifecycles with internal controls and regulatory compliance.
