Job summary

CITIC CLSA seeks a Senior Manager in the Data team based in Hong Kong. You will work closely with project managers, business users, vendors and other support teams to manage the firm's data platform, driving data principles and DevOps practices.

The role requires deep data platform know‑how, hands‑on Java and big data experience, and the ability to mentor a global team across HK, Pune and Shenzhen. Excellent communication in English and Chinese is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in computer science or related field with strong academic record.
• Around 15 years of industry experience, preferably in finance and data platforms.
• Proficiency in Java development and big data technologies in enterprise contexts.
• Experience designing data platforms and enterprise-level workflows.
• Strong English and Chinese communication skills for global teams.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business needs with data principles for enterprise platforms.
• Lead IT projects for CRM, Finance, Risk and AI development with stakeholders.
• Gather requirements, map processes, and coordinate delivery with technical teams.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and push DevOps transformation across the team.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with global teams in HK, Pune, Shenzhen.
