Job summary

Gemini Personnel Group Limited is seeking a Head of Operations / Operations Manager to lead and optimize the transportation ops across depots, bus termini and fleet. You will drive performance, safety, and customer service while ensuring profitability and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement with Transport Department and District Councils, and a track record of improving operational efficiency in a transportation setting.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Operations Management within the transportation industry.
• Proven leadership and people management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage general operations of depots and bus termini/interchanges and fleet.
• Lead the Operations Team to ensure performance across daily operations, profitability, safety, staff management and customer service.
• Maximize revenue and minimize costs while meeting safety standards and government service levels.
• Coordinate with supporting departments to ensure depots operate in the best interest of the company.
• Motivate and develop staff and allocate resources to achieve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including Transport Department and District Councils, to inform strategy.

A sizable local transportation company is looking for Head of Operations / Operations Manager urgently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage general operation of responsible depot(s), bus termini / interchanges and bus fleet;
• Lead and manage the Operations Team to ensure their performance, on areas covering daily operations deployment, profitability, compliance, safety, staff management and customer service, meets the organizational goals and targets;
• Maximize revenue and minimize costs whilst meeting the safety standard, customers’ needs as well as the service levels set by the Government;
• Coordinate with other supporting departments to ensure the responsible depot(s) is well operating to the best interest of the company;
• Motivate and develop staff to maintain an efficient workforce, and allocate resources within and/or outside the depot(s) to achieve optimal work efficiency and cost effectiveness;
• Maintain a smooth and constructive communication with stakeholders, including Transport Department and District Councils to enhance their understanding of the Operations activities and collect their opinions and make recommendations for revising the Company’s strategies as appropriate;

Requirements:
