Captar Partners Limited is seeking a highly experienced procurement leader to join Group Procurement and head strategic sourcing across technology and professional services. You will drive supplier performance, cost optimisation and governance while partnering with business stakeholders to enable transformation.

Responsibilities span end-to-end sourcing, contract negotiations, vendor risk management and procurement digitalisation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• 12+ years in procurement/strategic sourcing with IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior procurement leadership role.
• Experience with software, cloud, infrastructure, and professional services
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiations and cost optimisation.
• Experience in regulated environments such as insurance or banking is preferred.
• Strong vendor risk, outsourcing governance and regulatory understanding.
• Experience partnering with C-level stakeholders and influencing senior management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP, Oracle or similar solutions.

• Strengthen third-party and vendor risk management across various risk domains.
• Support regulatory and governance requirements relevant to financial services and outsourcing.
• Lead procurement-related business continuity and supplier resilience initiatives.

We are seeking a highly experienced procurement professional to join Group Procurement and lead strategic sourcing and category management across a range of business-critical products and services. The role will focus on managing external partners and professional services, including consulting, advisory, managed services and other specialist service providers. The successful candidate will drive strategic sourcing, commercial excellence, supplier performance and cost optimisation, while partnering closely with business stakeholders to support key transformation and operational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including market analysis, RFx execution, supplier selection, and contracting.
• Develop and executeprocurement and technology sourcing strategies aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Structure and negotiate complex agreements (MSA, SOW, outcome-based and managed services models).
• Establish rate cards, benchmarking frameworks, and role-based pricing models for technology services.
• Lead strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations across software, cloud, infrastructure, IT services, professional services and outsourcing.
• Manage strategic technology vendors and drive supplier performance, contract optimisation and commercial governance.
• Lead procurement transformation through digitalisation, automation, data analytics and improved procurement processes.
• Work with Group Procurement to leverage global sourcing strategies, preferred suppliers and group-wide agreements for local execution.
• Strengthen third-party and vendor risk management, covering financial, operational, cybersecurity, geopolitical and reputational risks.
• Support regulatory and governance requirements relevant to financial services and technology outsourcing.
• Lead procurement-related business continuity and supplier resilience initiatives.
• Develop and manage the IT procurement team, promoting strong commercial discipline and continuous improvement.
• Drive sustainable and responsible technology procurement, including supplier sustainability and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline;CIPS/MCIPS, MBA or relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous.
• 12+ years of procurement / strategic sourcing experience, including significant experience in IT or technology procurement.
• At least 5 years in a senior procurement leadership role.
• Strong experience managing IT spend and technology categories, such as software, cloud, infrastructure, managed services, outsourcing and professional services.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, cost optimisation and supplier management.
• Experience within insurance, banking, financial services or another highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of technology vendor risk, third-party risk, outsourcing governance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience partnering with C-level stakeholders and influencing senior management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP, Oracle or similar solutions.
