The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in procurement, with regulated industry experience and strong knowledge of software licensing, SaaS, and cloud contracts. Ambitious, cost-focused, and capable of navigating complex negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience with a strong focus on IT sourcing and vendor management.
• Experience within insurance, banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud contracts, SaaS agreements, cybersecurity procurement, and technology services sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing projects across software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity, telecoms, and professional services.
• Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, risk, and supplier performance.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including RFx processes, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technology requirements and ensure procurement solutions align with business objectives.
• Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, pricing models, and contractual provisions.
• Drive supplier relationship management activities and conduct regular vendor performance reviews.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation, process improvement, and risk mitigation.
• Support technology transformation projects and major sourcing initiatives across the organization.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier developments within the insurance and financial services sectors.
