Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited represents a well-established international insurance company seeking an IT Procurement Manager to drive strategic sourcing and technology procurement projects.

You will lead sourcing across software, hardware, cloud, cybersecurity, and services; manage vendor relationships; negotiate terms; ensure regulatory compliance; and deliver cost-saving initiatives in a highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, or related.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience with emphasis on IT sourcing and vendor management.
• Experience in insurance/financial services preferred.
• Knowledge of software licensing, cloud contracts, SaaS, cybersecurity procurement.
• Track record of complex contract negotiations and value delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with governance, third-party risk management, regulatory requirements.
• CIPS or CPSM certifications are advantageous.
• Fluent English; Cantonese/ Mandarin beneficial.

• Lead strategic sourcing projects covering software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and professional services.
• Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, risk, and supplier performance.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on IT sourcing and vendor management.
• Experience within insurance, banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud contracts, SaaS agreements, cybersecurity procurement, and technology services sourcing.
• Proven track record of managing complex contract negotiations and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with procurement governance, third-party risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent will be advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be beneficial.
