Job summary

AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Manager, Fraud and Authorization (Credit Card Focus) to lead the card authorization and fraud management function.

You will manage both local and offshore teams to implement robust risk controls while ensuring seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in card authorization/fraud, with at least 2 years in supervision, and strong knowledge of merchant acquiring and card dispute rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in card authorization or fraud operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Domain knowledge in merchant acquiring, card authorization and card fraud handling.
• Knowledge of credit card dispute rules is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Handle cards authorization and fraud management for HK and offshore teams.
• Develop and implement robust authorization and fraud strategies to balance risk and customer experience.
• Review and optimize authorization parameters, rules, and risk controls.
• Review rules in risk tools (Visa VRM, Mastercard DI) and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to investigate and resolve fraud cases.
• Coach offshore team on performance and service quality.
• Provide strategic recommendations on fraud mitigation and authorization risk.
• Ensure compliance with card schemes and internal policies.
• Perform UAT for system enhancements related to card schemes and mandates.
• Report on authorization performance and fraud trends to senior management.
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks as needed.
