Job summary

JLL in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of school facilities, including academic buildings and grounds. You will lead in-house technicians, coordinate with external contractors, and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires a degree in Facilities Management or related field, 5+ years of facilities management experience, strong MEP knowledge, and excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; additional languages are a plus.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related field (or requivalent practical experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of facilities management experience, preferably in educational, institutional or complex multi-building environments
• Strong technical expertise in building systems - demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and manage mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams and third-party vendors
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional languages are a plus
