Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a senior leader to build and scale direct customer/BCO business within a fast-growing logistics platform. You will drive international expansion beyond transpacific trade by developing non-TP lanes across Europe, LatAm, Middle East, and intra-Asia, while shaping commercial initiatives and team capabilities.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or logistics.
• Proven ability to build and scale direct customer/BCO business.
• Experience developing non-TP trade lanes (Europe, LatAm, Middle East, intra-Asia).
• Strong commercial leadership including customer development and cross-functional execution.
• Existing customer relationships or market access a plus.
• M&A or integration experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct customer/BCO build-out as a core priority.
• Lead expansion across non-TP trade lanes to Europe, LATAM, Middle East, intra-Asia.
• Develop and execute commercial initiatives to increase BCO mix and diversify trade lanes.
• Win, retain, and grow direct customer relationships across markets.
• Build teams, capabilities, and processes to support BCO development and non-TP expansion.
• Collaborate with senior leadership across sales, product, operations, pricing, procurement, and carrier management.
• Support bolt-on acquisitions strengthening commercial platform and trade lane density.
• Report progress to the Board and Nexus Point on key commercial progress.

Job Description

• Lea*d direct customer / BCO build-out as a core strategic priority
• Lea*d expansion across non-TP trade lanes, including Europe, LATAM, Middle East, intra-Asia, and other strategic corridors beyond the China-US trade
• Develop and execute commercial initiatives to increase BCO mix, diversify trade lane exposure, and broaden service offering
• Win, retain, and grow direct customer relationships across key origin and destination markets
• Build the teams, capabilities, and processes required to support BCO development and non-TP expansion
• Work with senior lea*dership across sales, product, operations, pricing, procurement, and carrier management to align growth with execution capability
• Support bolt-on acquisitions that strengthen commercial platform, customer reach, or trade lane density
• Report regularly to the Board and Nexus Point on progress against key commercial

The Successful Applicant

• Senior lea*dership experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or logistics
• Strong track record in building and scaling direct customer / BCO business
• Proven experience developing non-TP trade lanes, particularly Europe, LatAm, Middle East, or intra-Asia
• Strong commercial lea*dership capability, including customer development, team building, and cross-functional execution
• Existing customer relationships or market access that can be converted into business opportunities would be a plus
• M&A, integration, or commercial diligence experience would be a plus
