Job summary

OceanBase is seeking a Business Development Manager in Hong Kong to drive sales and market expansion for OceanBase in the region. You will manage territory plans, build a robust CRM pipeline, and collaborate with Solution Architects, Product, and Marketing to deliver customer-centric solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise/cloud sales, strong Cantonese, and willingness to travel regularly. You will engage with senior executives and coordinate across cross-functional teams to close

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Enterprise/Cloud sales at a tech company.
• Strong network with Hong Kong customers in Fintech/Payments/E‑commerce/Retail/Government.
• Working knowledge of database and/or cloud computing fields.
• Track record engaging and influencing senior executives in enterprise customers.
• Experience coordinating across marketing, product, and account teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly.
• Native Cantonese, professional English preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales quota by acquiring customers and signing revenue.
• Manage and execute territory plans to win lighthouse projects.
• Build and maintain a healthy CRM pipeline and forecast.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Development, and Management to feedback customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Marketing and BD to drive demand generation and pipeline for ASEAN with focus on named accounts.
• Co-sell with partners to optimize conversion rates.
