Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of sales and business development strategies for Batch 2 & 3 and future phases.
• Identify and engage potential partners from overseas, Hong Kong and Mainland China.
• Influence key decision-makers and propose customised solutions to drive commercial actions.
• Conduct EOIs research and formulate land development plans for senior management.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and pitches to showcase project opportunities.
• Prepare land lease tenders, investment materials and related documents; assist due diligence.
• Submit government submissions for land development approvals; collaborate across teams.

Executive Summary

Our client is a premier innovation and technology organisation operating a flagship technology park in Hong Kong, alongside a closely integrated sister park in Shenzhen. With a significant footprint across the Greater Bay Area (GBA), the organisation is dedicated to maximising the strategic advantages of cross-boundary collaboration to establish a world-class hub for technology and talent.

We are seeking a strategic and commercially astute senior business development leader to spearhead tenant acquisition and foster long-term partnerships within the GBA. This is a high-impact, executive-level role focused on positioning the park as the premier destination for leading I&T enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnership Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of robust sales and business development strategies to drive interest and engagement from potential stakeholders and partners for Batch 2 & 3, as well as future phases of the project.
• Actively explore and identify potential partners from overseas, Hong Kong and Mainland China.
• Identify, engage and influence key decision-makers of market players to understand their unique needs, propose tailored solutions and drive commercial actions.

Strategy, Research & Planning

• Conduct research and analysis based on Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and formulate land development plans for Senior Management’s consideration.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals and pitches to showcase the benefits and opportunities associated with the project.

Transactions, Tenders & Government Submissions

• Prepare and review relevant land lease tenders, investment promotion materials, transaction agreements and related documents, and assist in due diligence processes.
• Prepare submissions to the government for land development approvals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and consultants to ensure seamless coordination and execution of Batch 2 & 3 and future phase initiatives.

Major Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Surveying, Real Estate or other related disciplines.
• Minimum of 15 years’ progressive leadership experience spanning property development, land administration, valuation, government liaison and project implementation. Experience in commercial property management is a must.
• Proven expertise in real estate development management, financial analysis, property appraisals, business analysis and financial modelling.
• Knowledge of government approval processes, policies, procedures and regulations related to land development and submissions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Frequent travel or permanent work at the project office in the Northern Hong Kong / Shenzhen boundary area is required. Shuttle bus service and MTR concession scheme are available.
