The incumbent is responsible for overseeing all regional projects and leading property development projects end-to-end, ensuring timely, cost-effective and quality delivery, managing budgets, risks, stakeholders, contracts and regulatory compliance while driving team performance and strategic project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the full project lifecycle across all property development (residential, commercial, hotels, master plans) projects in all regions, from feasibility through delivery and handover;
- Develop and implement project delivery strategies aligned with company development objectives;
- Ensure projects in all regions are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards;
- Manage project governance, controls, reporting, and risk management frameworks;
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, authorities, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution;
- Review and approve project plans, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and execution methodologies;
- Monitor project performance, identify issues, and drive corrective actions where required;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, environmental, and contractual requirements;
- Lead negotiation and management of major project contracts and consultant/contractor engagements;
- Drive value engineering, cost optimization, and efficiency improvements across projects;
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the project management team;
- Report project progress, risks, and strategic updates to the Senior Management; and
- Perform other duties, special projects, and strategic initiatives as assigned, contributing to the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Real Estate or a related discipline
- Master Degree or professional certification in Project Management, Construction or Real Estate is an advantage
- At least 15 years relevant experience in project management, property development or construction delivery, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale property development projects
- Professional membership or certification such as PMP, MRICS, CIOB or equivalent are an advantage
- Proven track record of successfully delivering residential, commercial, mixed-use or industrial development projects
- Strong knowledge of project governance, cost control, contracts, development approvals and property development lifecycle
- Sound understanding of construction methods, project controls, procurement and contract management
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost planning, feasibility analysis and financial performance management
- Familiarity with planning approvals, local regulations, building codes and HSE requirements
- Understanding of stakeholder management and governance in large-scale development projects
- Strategic project leadership with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and the ability to manage ambiguity
- Strong project planning, scheduling and execution management with ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen with strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills; collaborative and able to influence across all levels
- Leadership, team development and change management skills with strong integrity, professional ethics and ownership
- Results-driven, accountable, committed to project success; highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, resilient and calm under pressure
- Strategic and comfortable managing ambiguity
