Job summary

A HKSAR Government Department seeks an IT Support Specialist to work in a Data Centre, performing daily support tasks, incident reporting, and maintenance. The role involves monitoring equipment, updating inventories, and coordinating with maintenance contractors to ensure smooth operations.

Candidates should have DSE/HKCEE with Chinese and English, at least 2 years in network operation, and experience with Windows 10/Server 2012+.

Qualifications

• Experience in network operation and troubleshooting in a data-centre environment.
• Strong communication and customer relation skills.
• Solid experience with Windows servers and basic UNIX will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer and related equipment per standards; monitor performance and perform maintenance.
• Prepare jobs per procedures and ensure successful completion and high quality outputs.
• Fulfil logging and administrative reporting; assist in statistics and reports.
