Job summary

Ping An Bank Hong Kong Branch seeks an experienced IT operations professional to support daily data centre and network tasks. You will monitor facilities, manage incidents, and coordinate with vendors to keep services running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on network and server knowledge, familiarity with security controls, and the ability to work under pressure in a regulated banking environment. Mandarin and Cantonese skills are preferred for collaboration with local teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Communications Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years IT operations experience, with 3+ years in financial institutions or data centres.
• Hands-on experience in data centre, network or systems operations, with incident follow-up.
• Strong networking fundamentals and familiarity with security controls.
• Experience with data centre standards and automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data centre construction support, site management and equipment installation tasks.
• Daily network operations, configuration changes and high-availability monitoring.
• Incident response and rapid diagnosis of hardware or network issues.
• Monitoring, backup management and firmware upgrades.
• Vendor and asset management including lifecycle records.
• Compliance with HKMA guidelines and data centre security audits.
• Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises.
