Job summary

A regional IT services provider in Hong Kong is looking for an Operation Specialist (Data Center Operator) to provide help desk support and monitor system health. This role requires at least one year of experience in operating a data centre, preferably in UNIX and Windows environments. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be fluent in English and Chinese, and be willing to work on holidays and a 24/7 roster. This position is based in Tsuen Wan.

Qualifications

• At least one year of post-qualification computer operation experience in data centre operations.
• Good command of English and Chinese languages.
• Willing to work on public holidays and 24/7 roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk services and escalate problems.
• Monitor network/system health in real time.
• Provide on-site technical support and distribute reports.
• Conduct routine system health checks and produce performance reports.
• Execute backup arrangements and support operations.
