Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a contract-based IT Helpdesk specialist to support over 140 HK Post IT systems. You will deliver remote and on-site support, handling software configuration, quick issue resolution, and routine health checks.

The role requires at least 2 years in PC/LAN support, experience with Lotus Notes, CMS, and AVT, and willingness to work across HKP locations. The 3-month assignment runs Nov 2026 to Jan 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support for HKP IT systems and queries.
• Handle daily IT system support and incident handling.
• Remote software configuration and workstation setup (Lotus Notes/Outlook).
• On-site hardware/software installation and system relocation.
• Assist in project rollout and data migration activities.
• Daily health-checks and data centre monitoring.
• Conduct computer inventory and audits across HKP offices.

Project Nature (T26) To deliver the general helpdesk support services of PC workstations and maintain IT systems for over 140 Post Office and back office of Hongkong Post (HKP).

Duties

1. Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the Hongkong Post;
2. To provide helpdesk support of IT systems, including the handling of query/incident reported from users and undertake the daily support of IT systems;
3. To provide remote support on software configuration and customization to workstation, such as Lotus Notes / Outlook client installation and administration, anti-virus and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software setup, office suites support and Windows platforms (Windows 10 and Windows 11) support;
4. To perform on-site technical support on hardware/software installation, relocation work of systems (PC, monitors, printers, barcode readers and etc), OS image cloning, software or application programs installation;
5. To assist in project rollout such as contractor co-ordination, accessories installation, PC data migration, data erasure activities, on-site standby support and etc;
6. To perform daily health-check on the IT systems, and Data Centre monitoring and tidy up;
7. To perform computer inventory taking and audit exercise in various office of HKP

Requirements

1. a) Experience in PC with Windows environment;
2. b) Experience in customer support in technical aspect is an advantage;
3. c) Work in various location of HKP is required;
4. d) Overtime work, irregular hours work and work on Sat/Sun are required when necessary; and
5. e) Criminal record check is required.

Technical Skills

1. . At least 2 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
2. . At least 2 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10);
3. . 1 year's experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT) is an advantage;
4. . 1 year's experience in Confidential Mail System (CMS) is an advantage;
5. . 1 year's experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skill

1. . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV).
2. - At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent;
3. - At least 2 years'relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
