You will collaborate with Finance, Talent & Culture, payroll providers and external stakeholders to drive improvements, reconciliation, and smooth payroll operations across the cluster.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll across multiple units, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Validate payroll data including hires, changes, benefits, deductions and terminations.
  • Prepare statutory submissions under Employment Ordinance, MPF and other requirements.
  • Perform reconciliations, payroll journals and month-/year-end close support.
  • Produce payroll reports, headcount analyses and cost summaries for budgeting.
  • Liaise with Finance, Talent & Culture, and external providers to resolve inquiries and drive improvements.

We are seeking a Cluster Paymaster to oversee payroll operations across multiple business units within our luxury club portfolio in Hong Kong. This role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, payroll accounting support, reconciliations, reporting and payroll governance, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, control and compliance.

About the Role:

This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing payroll processes within a multi-unit operating environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Talent & Culture, payroll service providers and external stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance and seamless payroll operations across the Cluster.

  • Execution Excellence: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and ownership while managing payroll processing, reconciliations, statutory submissions and reporting requirements.
What you will do:
  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain and validate payroll data, including new hires, salary changes, benefits, attendance records, service charge distribution, allowances, deductions and employee separations.
  • Prepare payroll-related statutory submissions and ensure compliance with Employment Ordinance, MPF, Inland Revenue and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, prepare payroll journals, accruals and supporting schedules, and support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare payroll reports, headcount analysis and manpower cost summaries, while supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with Talent & Culture, Finance, payroll service provider s and external stakeholders to resolve payroll enquiries, support audits, maintain payroll controls and drive continuous process improvements.
