Job summary

Reputable F&B Group in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Payroll & HRIS Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. This role requires hands-on payroll processing and familiarity with frontline salary schemes in a large F&B or retail organization.

The position involves overseeing SAP-based payroll, guiding offshore HR colleagues, coordinating annual C&B exercises, and ensuring adherence to Hong Kong Labor Ordinance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and numerical aptitude.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office; hands-on SAP and UAT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-spectrum payroll operations, including payroll and final payment calculations, MPF, employee benefits, taxation, and leave management.
• Manage and ensure accuracy of frontline payroll processing, including handling varied salary structures (e.g., shift-based pay, tips/service charge allocation, meal allowances, multi-outlet wage arrangements).
• Verify source data underpinning wage calculations, such as attendance and leave records.
• Prepare and deliver timely, accurate payroll reports to Management and relevant departments.
• Conduct UAT and support smooth implementation of new payroll requirements within SAP.
• Guide offshore HR colleagues on daily payroll operations and digitalization projects.
• Support annual C&B exercises, including salary review, bonus processing, and benefits/insurance renewals.
• Develop and perpare HR analytics report to support HR Director.
• Ensure payroll policies and procedures comply with Hong Kong Labor Ordinance and other employment regulations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for staff payroll and benefits inquiries.
• Handle ad hoc payroll-related projects as assigned.

They are seeking an experienced Payroll & HRIS Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. This is a hands‑on, operationally focused role — strong command of frontline payroll processing is essential, and candidates with F&B or retail frontline payroll experience are preferred, given the complexity of their frontline salary schemes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 to 8 years' C&B experience, with solid supervisory experience in payroll operations.
• F&B or retail frontline payroll experience in a sizable organization strongly preferred, with familiarity in frontline salary schemes (e.g., hourly/shift pay, tips distribution, statutory holiday pay).
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and numerical aptitude.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office; hands‑on SAP and UAT experience preferred.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Less experienced individual will be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
