Job summary

The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) invites applications for the Head of Assessment Development to lead the division responsible for HKDSE and other local public examinations. Reporting to senior management, you will shape strategic plans, oversee assessment frameworks, and guide a large professional team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (higher degree preferred), teaching qualification with pedagogy expertise, and extensive senior management experience in

Qualifications

• Experience in the development and administration of large-scale examinations.
• Proven leadership of assessment professionals and projects.
• Strong knowledge of the education environment, curriculum and assessment.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and improvements of HKDSE and local exams.
• Oversee development and review of assessment frameworks and papers.
• Manage marking, grading, and school-based assessment implementation.
• Formulate divisional plans, allocate resources, monitor performance.
• Provide expert advice to senior management on examinations.
• Represent the Division to committees and external bodies.
• Maintain relationships with Education Bureau and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate across divisions on research, training, inquiries.
