Job summary

Hong Kong College of Technology is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee campus facilities services across multiple campuses and lead a professional support team. You will coordinate outsourced providers and manage procurement to support ongoing development initiatives.

The role requires a degree in facilities or related field, 4+ years of experience, and strong vendor management, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Facilities Management, Property Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• At least 4 years' experience, including a minimum of 2 years in facilities management, campus operations or service management.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Chinese Word Processing and English typing.
• Good command of written English and Chinese.
• Strong organisational, coordination and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of campus facilities services to ensure smooth running of the Institute's campuses.
• Lead and supervise the campus support team to deliver efficient, high-quality services.
• Manage and monitor outsourced service providers (cleaning, security, landscaping) for quality and effectiveness.
• Coordinate procurement and deployment of furniture, equipment and manpower for campus operations and development.
• Develop and implement campus management, health and safety procedures for compliant service delivery.
• Coordinate facilities support services and respond to operational needs from academic and administrative departments.
• Handle emergency and ad hoc facilities-related matters as required.
